Thank you very much for the :+fav:! Also, I'm curious; are you defining the fractals by the raw function or are you working with permutations of known systems? (Say, tweaking a mandlebrot?)

I am actually using a program called Apophysis. It has a bunch of functions built in. There's a lot of tweak-and-experiment with the parameters, but after awhile you start to figure out what functions and parameters can produce what effect.

If you're curious, there are quite a few dA groups devoted to apophysis.

I also use Flam4Cuda to render them using my graphics card.
